About Pakistan Society of North Texas
The oldest registered Pakistani organization in North Texas that has been serving North Texas' Pakistani American community since 1984. PSNT is a non-political and non-profit social organization established to sponsor social, civic, educational, literary, scientific, charitable and religious activities for the benefit of the Pakistani-American community in Texas. PSNT strives to foster a more unified Pakistani community in Texas in which everyone is included regardless of affiliations or differences. PSNT also cooperates with local organizations from other communities. PSNT recognizes that religious, political and cultural differences exist in a society and is working toward making Texas a place where diverse people come together to solve community problems and build bridges. Now, PSNT is headed in a new direction under a new, dynamic leadership. Our team is comprised of professionals from all walks of life who have excelled in their fields and bring a rich and diverse experience to the table. We are working hard to revamp this organization and bring to you not only quality social events but also some much-needed services, especially for the needy and the underprivileged. Our Goals
Promote goodwill, understanding and fellowship among the Pakistani-Americans and community at large.
Coordinate efforts to represent the Pakistani-American community's perspective on various issues.
Organize ethnic, cultural and social events to promote art, music, literature and other cultural aspects of Pakistani-American life.
Organize trade shows, food festivals and antique shows and create a network to locate business opportunities for community members.
Educate the community on political, social and economic issues and raise awareness of their rights and responsibilities.
