Pakistan Association of Greater Seattle

The Pakistan Association of Greater Seattle (PAGS) is a registered 501(c) non-profit organization serving the Sammamish, WA community and the greater Seattle region since 1992. The organization provides comprehensive community services designed to strengthen cultural connections and promote understanding of Pakistani heritage and values. PAGS offers a range of programs throughout the year, including cultural celebrations, educational events, and community gatherings that bring together Pakistani and non-Pakistani individuals who share common values of unity, faith, and discipline.

The organization facilitates regular board meetings held on the first Wednesday of each month at the Bellevue City Center, providing an open forum for community members to participate in governance and decision-making. PAGS coordinates visa application services through twice-yearly visa camps in Seattle, making it convenient for community members planning to visit Pakistan. The association also organizes major cultural celebrations including Pakistan Independence Day public picnics, Pakistan Day youth and children-focused events, and traditional Eid ul Fitr and Eid ul Adha gatherings that have been hosted for over two decades.

Beyond cultural programming, PAGS actively engages in community outreach and humanitarian efforts. The organization has partnered with local schools to provide educational events about Pakistan and maintains ongoing relationships with state representatives, the Pakistani Consulate, and the Embassy in Washington DC. With a track record of raising significant funds for disaster relief and educational initiatives in Pakistan, PAGS demonstrates commitment to both its local community and international humanitarian causes, making it a vital organization for Pakistani families and cultural enthusiasts throughout the Sammamish and Seattle area.
